Rebranding for growth

Mackie had an existing logo that one of the directors had created on Powerpoint a few years earlier and now that they were growing and working with large companies, they felt it needed an update.

We went through some ideas with them then landed on a road map concept. Mackie mostly research road-related infrastructure so we concentrate on developing the road and city block idea. We played with the grid in various colour schemes then modified a typeface to create a mix of softly rounded and sharp edges. 

There are now three different adaptations of the logo, to use for various media - presentations, reports, business cards and website.

Using this grid, we were able to have fun creating image montages, art for their walls and even clothing - the possibilities are endless.
